# Agencies

You can put WP Proof on your own sites and on client sites. Give each website its own token. The token is for [AI Proof Generation](/docs/ai-proof-generation). That is how you cap AI on one site, and how you turn AI off on that site without touching the others.

## One token per site

In the members area, open **Tokens**. For each site:

1. Give it a **Name** you will recognize (the client, the domain). Only you see this.
2. Set **Max Requests per Month** for that token.
3. Click **Generate Token**. Copy it.
4. On that site, paste it in WP Proof → **Settings**. See [Install WP Proof](/docs/install).

**Max Requests per Month** is how many AI Proof Generation runs that token can make in a month. It does not limit popup views. Popups are unlimited, and they still show if a site has no token.

Harbor Heating gets one token. The plumbing client gets another. If you reuse one token everywhere, you cannot cap or shut off AI on a single site.

## Activate and deactivate

On the token list:

- **Deactivate** turns that token off. That site can no longer use AI with it until you **Activate** it again. Other tokens keep working.
- **Edit** changes the name or the max requests.
- **Delete** removes the token.

That is the control for AI on each site: one token, a monthly max on generation runs, and the ability to switch it off.
