# Install WP Proof

After purchase, download the plugin from the members area, upload it to WordPress, and activate it. You should then see **WP Proof** in the dashboard.

## Download

In the members area, click **Download**. That gives you the `.zip`.

## Upload and activate

In WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Choose that `.zip`, install, and activate.

## Token

AI Proof Generation needs a token from this site. Open **Tokens** in the members area. Give it a name (only you see this), set **Max Requests per Month**, and click **Generate Token**. Copy the token.

**Max Requests per Month** is how many AI Proof Generation runs that token can make in a month. It does not limit popup views. Popups are unlimited.

Then in WordPress, go to WP Proof → **Settings**, paste the token, and save.

The plugin works without a token. You only need one if you want [AI Proof Generation](/docs/ai-proof-generation).
